Youth and Family Bowling Night!

bowling kLast week 25 people gathered for a fun night of relationship building through bowling! Whether we were bowling strikes or relying on the bumpers, we all had a great time.

Over the last couple of months we have read many parables from the New Testament. Kristi reminded us during a Mystery Box Children’s Message that the objects in the parables then would have been very familiar to people at that time, things like vineyards and mustard seeds. But today we have less experience with these agrarian ideas, so we are invited to use familiar objects from today to help us describe God’s love in the world and the kingdom of heaven. So this week I challenge you to think creatively: How might bowling, or bowling balls, or bowling pins, represent God’s love?
