It’s S(o)uper Bowl time!

The countdown to the Big Game has begun — and Our Savior’s youth hopes they can count on you to “Tackle Hunger.”Souper_Bowl_of_Caring_Logo_with_Web_Address

OSLC Youth will join 573 groups across the nation in the Souper Bowl of Caring, one of the largest hunger-reduction efforts in the nation. Since the “Bowl” kicked off on Jan 21, these groups have raised more than $2 million in cash and food donations for local charities.

Again this year, OSLC’s Souper Bowl collections will go to the Quad Cities Food Shelf. Youth will be at the church doors holding soup pots following the service to collect donations. Just drop your donation in the pot representing your favorite Super Bowl team — and help gain a victory over hunger on the Range.

The Labyrinth in the Courtyard

Have you discovered the Labyrinth in the Courtyard of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church? Have you walked it?

Walking the Labyrinth is a meditative and spiritual experience.

A labyrinth is a winding path without junctions. Unlike a maze in which you have to make choices. In a maze you may lose your way, while in a labyrinth you find your way…
