*Most groups are meeting at this time as scheduled. We recommend you get to know the leader of the particular group you are interested in or attend, and call them for information about meeting changes as the church staff are not always aware of cancellations, etc.
A variety of support organizations from the community meet at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Our Savior’s believes in hospitality and service to the community. Stop by the office if your group needs a new home, we can see if our schedule is open for your group, and if our building policy fits the needs of your group. We desire to be supportive of self-help groups, and we are pleased that many local 12 step groups, as well as other health and community groups have chosen OSLC as their home base. The local Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops also meets here regularly.
A few groups that hold meetings here are:
AA 10:30am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, in the west wing of building (the entrance is located at the end of the flat roofed portion of the church closest to the nursing home across the street). A 1pm group meets on Sunday afternoons in the West Wing.
NA 7 pm on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday evenings, and at 8 pm on Friday evenings, in the west wing of the building (the entrance is located at the end of the flat roofed portion of the church closest to the nursing home across the street). There is now a closed/Women’s only NA group that is meeting at 6pm as well – feel free to stop in to see if it is right for you, then join us for the open meeting that begins at 8pm.
TOPS Group 4:30pm on Mondays, we are meeting in the west wing portion of the church, the entrance is located closest to the nursing home on 12th.
Senior Companions 10:30 am, the 3rd Thursday of the month, contact Senior Companions @ 218-529-2280 for changing dates and more information.
Boy Scouts meet at various times throughout the school year.
We also have ongoing Bible Studies that meet here @ OSLC:
- Women’s: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 1pm in the Fireside Room (just past the church office).
- FunDuhMentals Bible Study will now be the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month at 5:30pm in the Fireside Room.
- We also have “Adult Forums” after worship on Sundays a few times a month with different study topics.
