Our Savior’s Prayer Shawl ministry quite literally wraps people in the power of prayer. Volunteers knit or crochet each shawl, and pray for the recipient and others while making it. Pastors and others then distribute the shawls to those in need of care – from families of newborns to those battling illness or facing the loss of a loved one. They are for your own prayer time, for someone who is struggling with a life event or season and does not have one at home to help establish a prayer routine, or is just in need of the comfort of knowing someone prayed for the recipient. The shawls are kept in the sanctuary, you may stop in and ask us to retrieve one for you!
