Destination: BWCAW 2015!

Next summer OSLC Sr. High students will be going on a grand adventure into the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness with Voyageurs Canoe Country. We are so excited to experience God’s great northwoods, grow together in faith, and challenge ourselves.

Please prayerfully consider if this is a journey you want to take, too! Students grades 9 through 12 are welcome, but only 7 spots are available. It will be a major commitment of time and energy, but it may also be one of the most amazing weeks of your life (just ask anyone who has ever gone on one of these incredible trips!). To sign up, please contact Meagan.

When: Sunday, July 19 -Saturday, July 25, 2015

We will meet at church at 3:00 pm and head north to Camp Vermilion to prepare and pack. After an early breakfast Monday morning we will head to our entry point and spend 5 nights in the BWCA. We will return to camp Friday afternoon to unpack, clean up, and enjoy closing worship at the lake. We will depart Camp Vermilion early Saturday morning and return to OSLC at about 9:00 am.

Students are asked to each contribute a deposit of $50. The remaining costs for the trip will be collected through fundraising. Thanks to the “Lefse Ladies”, we already have a good start! If you have a fundraising idea or would like to make a donation, please contact Meagan.
